On July 1, 2016 a judgment was granted against Health America Fresh Foods, Inc., Salinas, California in the U.S. District Court California Northern District (San Jose) under case #:5:15-cv-03663-EJD. The amount owed to the plaintiff is $125,194.46 in damages with prejudgment interest in the amount of $4.09 plus the additional interest that has accrued on the damages at an annual rate of 0.12% since June 6, 2012. Also $6,290 in fees and costs awarded by the USDA as part of its reparation award and $17,400 in attorney fees with a total judgment amount of $150,206.67.
