The Anaheim, CA-based Fresh Produce & Floral Council canceled its July 13-14 expo planned for the Disneyland Hotel.
In a Facebook post, the council said the California guidelines regarding large gatherings prevented the ability to host the annual event.
“We appreciate your patience as we worked through formalities with our vendor partners and we believe this is the best decision to protect the health, safety and well-being of our exhibitors and attendees,” the statement read.
“We are also extremely cognizant of the financial burden and impact COVID-19 has caused members of this industry as we are not foreign to its impact ourselves and a networking driven organization.”
