GRAPHIC: Avocado volume keeps rising but so are prices

The following graphic was produced by Agtools Inc. BB #:355102, showing that Mexico is the dominant supplier of avocados to the U.S., with 160 million more pounds so far this season than last.

Volume from all areas is at an all-time high, but pricing can be highly variable. For instance, per-carton prices for size 48s have risen from as low as $20 earlier in the year to $70 now.
