Frank Gargiulo & Son Inc. BB #:132478, Hillside, New Jersey, has been awarded a maximum $239,400,000 fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for fresh fruits and vegetables.
This was a competitive acquisition with four responses received. This is a three-year contract with no option periods.
Location of performance is New York, with an Aug. 23, 2025, ordering period end date. Using customers are Army, Air Force, Navy and U.S. Department of Agriculture schools in New Jersey and New York. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2022 through 2025 defense working capital funds. The contracting agency is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPE300-22-D-P381).
The distributor was awarded a $111,465,000 government supply contract in July.
