Grocers top Great Place to Work retail list 

Rochester, NY-based Wegmans BB #:104173 ranked No. 1 in the Fortune Best Workplaces in Retail list, and ranked No. 3 in overall 100 Best Companies to Work For – the only grocer to make the Top 10 in overall rankings.

Target (2) BB #:166987, Sheetz (3), Publix (5) BB #:110909, Nugget (6) BB #:198061, Aldi (16), and Southeastern Grocers (20) all ranked in the Top 20 of retailers in this year’s list.

The widely publicized list is determined by Great Place to Work using the organization’s “For All” methodology, an ongoing annual workforce study based on more than a million employee survey responses and data from companies.

Honorees in the Best Workplaces in Retail list were determined based on survey response of Great Place to Work-Certified companies in retail using quantitative and qualitative feedback from employees, and data provided by companies including size, location, industry, demographics, roles and levels.
