Markon Cooperative BB #:123315 released this crop update March 2, 2023:

Yesterday, March 1, the Arizona/California desert growing region experienced another round of gusty winds followed by showers in the late afternoon. Lower temperatures and lettuce ice are forecast through the rest of this week.

Markon Inspectors are seeing quality challenges as a result of recent weather including:

• Dehydration
• Elevated dirt/mud
• Fringe burn
• Wind damage
