USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service will raise its quality and condition inspections by 10 percent this year.

Meanwhile, audit verification services will go up 6.5 percent. AMS announced in March the user-fees would go up this year, and they will go into effect on Oct. 1.

Voluntary quality and condition inspections will rise to $210 per lot from $191, and voluntary audit verification services will go up to $115 per hour from $108.
