How much guacamole do you think a six-pound avocado would make?

This Hawaiian grower, Kenji Fukumitsu, may be producing world-record sized fruit – some that are the size of a baby.

According to local news reports, Fukumitsu regularly donates his home-grown avocados to the local Urgent Care of Kona, and the workers there thought he might be giving them bigger avocados than anyone has ever seen.

Indeed, one 6 pound, 11 ounce avocado would shatter the Guinness World Record for avocado size, if the group can authenticate it.

Fukumitsu told the local news that the enormous avocadoes come from a tree planted by his brother in 1941, and he has no idea why they’re so large.
