According to SECEX (Foreign Trade Department), 2021 Brazilian fruit exports have already surpassed 2020 shipments in both volume and revenue.

Even before November and December are added in, the total volume of fresh fruit shipped abroad, including citrus peels and melons, is 1.05 million tons with sales of just over $995 million, as reported by Abrafrutas.

It’s virtually assured that Brazil will crest $1 billion in fruit sales this year. Locally, favorable climate has led to increased supply, allowing further fulfillment of shipments.

Lemons, limes, papayas, mangos, watermelons, and melons are breaking records in terms of volume this year.
