I feel like I spend a good percentage of my days talking about plastic. While it does serve a purpose for many items in the produce department, there are many who’d like to see a plastic-free produce department.

Is it possible?

How?

Dayka & Hackett recently launched a new Eco-Tote, a plastic-free, recyclable, reusable and even biodegradable tote bag for grapes. While paper toes aren’t necessarily a new thing for the produce department, the plastic-free movement could bring them to greater prominence for a certain percentage of retailers out there.
