St. Cloud, MN-based Corborn’s Inc. BB #:167605 is expanding to Illinois with the purchase of Sullivan’s Foods.
The transaction, expected to close next month, includes 11 Sullivan’s Foods locations, a convenience store/gas station, and three Ace Hardware stores, according to media reports.
“We look forward to extending the same operating philosophies in these locations that have made us successful for 102 years – investing and training our people, supporting our communities, and investing in our stores to improve the experience for our guests,” said CEO Chris Coborn, in a statement. “We look forward to having the entire Sullivan’s team join our team to learn more about their operations and communities.
Coborn’s has about 125 locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Michigan, under the Cash Wise Foods, Marketplace Foods, Hornbacher’s, and Tadych’s Marketplace Foods banners.
