SALINAS, CA (March 31, 2025) – Earthbound Farm, the largest U.S. farmer and producer of organic salads, introduces three new Organic Salad Kits, each featuring dressings crafted with 100% organic avocado oil.

These additions enhance Earthbound Farm’s existing lineup, further expanding the salad category with fresh, flavorful and nutritious options.

As consumers seek healthier alternatives for their salad dressings including non-seed oils, avocado oil is continuing to increase in popularity with use in a range of consumer products.

According to a Healthline article, this oil is rich in antioxidants and nutrients that offer benefits such as reducing cholesterol levels, enhancing nutrient absorption, supporting heart health, and promoting eye health. Additional research from an IFIC Spotlight Survey on Seed Oils found that when consumers were presented with a range of fats and oils, 67% of those surveyed selected avocado oil in their top three for healthiest type of oil with nearly 40% ranking it the healthiest. Earthbound Farm’s Organic Salad Kits not only incorporate organic avocado oil but also showcase a diverse array of fresh ingredients, including crisp greens, vibrant vegetables and indulgent toppings. Each kit is carefully crafted to deliver a delightfully satisfying experience, making them ideal for busy individuals and families seeking convenient solutions that balance flavor, crunch and nutrition.

“Our new salad kits embody our dedication to delivering fresh, flavorful, health forward choices that align with the evolving preferences of modern consumers,” said Jenny Panziera, Director of Product for Organic Salads and Earthbound Farm. “By pairing the freshest greens, clean-ingredients, and indulgent flavors with the nutritional benefits of avocado oil, we’re providing organic meal options that balance great taste, convenience and nutrition.”
