The U.S. Apple Association BB #:145473 says in its most recent U.S. holdings report that the U.S. fresh market has apple holdings of 132.1 million bushels on November 1, which are 15 percent greater than the November 1, 2018 holdings of 114.9 million bushels, and 3 percent greater than the five-year average of 128.4 million bushels.

Total processing apple holdings as of November 1, were 47.1 million bushels, 23 percent greater than those on November 1, 2018, and 11 percent greater than the five-year average for that date.

By region, the Northwest had 115.9 million bushels of fresh holdings, up from 98.1 million last year at this time, which represents 18 percent more.

The Northeast had 8.7 million fresh bushels, down from 9.7 last year or 10 percent; and the Midwest had 6.09 million fresh bushels, up from 5.99 million last year or 2 percent.
