The Mexican grape season is expected to wrap up by the end of next week, as the California season plans to start about July 6.

A crop update posted by Markon Cooperative BB #:123315 this week says the group will start shipping California-grown grapes when its Mexican supplies come to an end July 10.

California-grown green seedless supplies are expected to begin shipping on July 12, and red seedless stocks will start shipping about July 6.

“Expect higher prices to start the season, but markets will ease once California volume ramps up in mid-July,” Markon said. “Good quality is anticipated at the start of the season.”
