Domestic iceberg lettuce volume was down in 2022, and while Mexico increased its shipments to the U.S., it wasn’t enough to keep prices from rising late in the year.

FOBs shot up in the fourth quarter of 2022 due to weather and disease problems, reaching nearly $100 per carton, as shown in this monthly graphic report from Agtools BB #:355102.
