WASHINGTON, D.C.—Cathy Burns, CEO of the International Fresh Produce Association BB #:378962 provided the following comments on the Biden-Harris Administration’s newly-released national strategy on hunger, nutrition, and health:

“Six of eight of our moonshot recommendations are in the 44-page report, including produce prescriptions, and more fruit and vegetables in SNAP,” Burns said, of the strategy ahead of visits with legislators on Capitol Hill, as part of The Washington Conference on September 27. “We are finally at the center of the plate. We are finally the ones people are talking about. We are making a difference.”
