Revenues in the first quarter of fiscal 2017 decreased $3.0 million, to $132.4 million, compared to $135.4 million in the year-ago quarter. The decrease in revenues was primarily due to a $7.8 million, or 7%, decrease in revenues in Apio’s packaged fresh vegetables business as a result of the strategic shift away from some low margin business during the second half of fiscal 2016.
