ORLANDO, FL – Sun Pacific Marketing Cooperative, Pasadena, CA, showed its organic Cuties for the first time at the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure expo March 9.

Howard Nager, vice president of business development, said organic Cuties became available in January.

He said Sun Pacific added organically grown kiwifruit to its Mighties line in October.

Nager said the easy-peel citrus market has gotten more crowded, as more citrus companies introduce branded clementines, mandarins, and the like.

“When you have success, you have competition, and that makes you focus on what got us to this point,” he said at the expo.
