From January to November 2024, Peruvian blueberry exports totaled more than $2 billion, showing an increase of 46 percent compared to what was reported in the same months of the previous year, according to Agraria, citing figures from Peru’s Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri).

This highlighted that this berry continues to break export records, which constitutes a great achievement for Peruvian agriculture, Midagri said.

The main destinations for blueberries from Peru are the United States, Europe and Asia.

In addition, the main exporting regions of this fruit in Peru are La Libertad, Lambayeque, Ica, Ancash and Lima.
