From January to November 2022, total Peruvian exports to the U.S. totaled $7.73 billion, reflecting an increase of 23.4 percent compared to the same period in 2021 and an increase of 39.3 percent compared to the same time period in 2020, according to Agraria, using Foreign Trade Society of Peru (ComexPeru) data.
The main products exported from the non-traditional sector in 2022 were blueberries, with $666 million, reflecting a growth of 15.2 percent year-on-year.

They are followed by fresh grapes with $409 million (+27 percent); natural calcium phosphates with $266 million (+80 percent); fresh avocados with $231 million (+36.4 percent); and fresh asparagus (+23.3 percent).
Shipments of traditional products to the U.S. for the first eleven months of 2022 totaled $2.719 billion, reflecting a growth of 29.4 percent compared to the same period in 2021, representing 35.2 percent of the total exported.
Non-traditional exports to the U.S. for the first eleven months of 2022 reached $5.011 billion, reflecting an increase of 20.5 percent compared to the same period in 2021, representing 64.8 percent of the total exported.
