Seneca Foods Corporation reported for the second quarter of 2016, net earnings of $6.5 million, or $0.65 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $0.6 million, or $(0.05) per diluted share, in the fiscal second quarter of 2015. Net sales for the second quarter ended September 26, 2015 increased from the second quarter ended September 27, 2014 by 0.3%, or $1.0 million to $313.2 million.
