Several of the spotlights within this quarter’s Blueprints discuss popular growing regions throughout our country.Local Source Logo One dominant trend is the desire to “source locally.” A new feature recently released by Blue Book Services that may help is Local Source – a database of an additional 20,000 produce growers throughout the continental United States – which is fully integrated and searchable with Blue Book Online Services (BBOS).

Local Source records include whether the business operates a packing facility or greenhouse, maintains food safety certifications, or grows organic product. To find out more about Local Source and how to find locally grown products, check out www.producebluebook.com/local-source-data/.
