Amanda Keefer of Produce for Kids and I are back, talking trends. This episode revolves around convenience, from making your own Buddah Bowls to putting together an expert (or not-so-expert) healthful board-style spread for convenient summer meals to remembering to bring the healthy snacks on a road trip.
I can’t be the only one who’s dropped $40 at Chipotle, or hit up a convenience store during a road trip and come out with $37 in Corn Nuts, pork rinds and maybe a tiny cup of cantaloupe, right?
This episode is all about reminders that produce is accessible, and is often the easiest option.
Fresh-cut fruit was literally designed for snacking on-the-go, so how did I find myself at a waterpark envious of the table next to me with their watermelon slice and pineapple spears?
This is literally my job, and I still forget. That’s a poignant reminder that consumers often aren’t looking to the produce department for their meals on-the-go.
Take a look, and let us know what you think.
