The United Fresh Produce Association has several new resources for businesses to manage unprecedented demand and supply chain challenges during the coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak.

The organization split website content into two pages, one consumer-facing, and one specifically for industry members addressing challenges for businesses.

A new discussion group on the social media platform LinkedIn, the Produce Industry Coronavirus Resource Share Group, also has been created.

“The goal is to share and source resources in this group where a collective of fresh produce companies along the supply chain are working to make sure food is grown and delivered to consumers. Designed to serve as a forum, we encourage industry members to share specific needs you have; capacity or resources that you might have available to assist others (e.g. transportation capacity, produce looking for a buyer, produce to be donated, etc.); questions for peers who might be able to share advice; etc.”
