The United Fresh Produce Association BB #:145458 continues to work with leaders in Washington, DC, to get the economic stimulus money into the hands of produce businesses that need it.

The association has its eye on a number of other issues, says Robert Guenther, senior vice president of public policy.

I talked with him at the end of last week about what we can expect this week in the nation’s capital, including the industry’s proposal for the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act to stabilize the produce industry during the COVID-19 pandemic.
